Interpath names Leonard Cripps as transaction services director
Leonard Cripps has joined Interpath Advisory as a Director in its growing transaction services team.According to the practice’s leader, Russell Worrall, Cripps will bring important experience across the finance function.
Worrall, who is Head of Transaction Services at Interpath, added, “We are delighted to welcome Leonard to Interpath. His breadth of experience, particularly around evaluating critical financial and operational business drivers, quality of earnings, financial modelling, and transaction pricing considerations, adds further weight to our already experienced team.”
Even amid the world’s gathering economic uncertainty, the M&A market is busier than it was prior to the pandemic – and deals are continuing to complete. Vendors and acquirers alike are looking for advisors who can help them navigate these ever-changing market conditions and provide clear-headed advice to drive maximum value from transactions; meaning Interpath’s transaction team is in keen demand.
Cripps initially began his career within the assurance, strategy and transaction groups of EY, before moving to Alvarez & Marsal. There, he worked within the transaction advisory group of its Boston and London offices – working on a wide range of buy-side, sell-side and carve out engagements across the software and technology, consumer and manufacturing sectors. Most recently he was with Swedish investment firm Storskogen, where he managed M&A engagements for the firm’s UK subsidiary in a buy-side role.
Looking ahead, he will put his decade of experience to work with Interpath, specialising in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients in the UK and the US. The firm’s transactions services team provides both buy-side and sell-side due diligence, including vendor assistance.
Cripps said of the new challenge, “I’m thrilled to be joining Interpath, and looking forward to working with my new colleagues to help deliver the very best outcomes for clients.”
