Richard Brackstone named Managing Partner at Moorhouse
Fast growing consultancy Moorhouse has appointed Richard Brackstone as its Managing Partner. Brackstone has now spent a decade with the company, and will now focus on further expanding and developing the firm’s multifaceted team of consultants.
Established in 2004, Moorhouse is a transformation consultancy which works to deliver complex transformational projects. Since its purchase by Expleo Group (formerly Software Quality Systems) in 2018, the firm has been looking to ramp up its operations in the UK. In 2020, part of the firm’s expansion plans saw Richard Brackstone join the firm’s partnership.
Having joined in 2012, Brackstone has specialised in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector at Moorhouse. Having taken leadership for this sector, as well as taking over the leadership of the internal Business Development (BD) team at Moorhouse in 2019, he has worked with clients such as Sky, Virgin Media, Telefonica UK, Openreach, EE, MBNL, Civica. He has also headed the Financial Services sector.

Prior to life at Moorhouse, Brackstone spent three years with Accenture, where he was latterly a Senior Manager. He also held senior roles with the DWP, DEFRA and Lloyds Banking Group on an interim basis between 2002 and 2012. Meanwhile, outside of work, he also boasts the notable achievement of having managed to gain an international rugby cap for Togo.
Moorhouse has seen 20% growth year-on-year for the past few years and has been listed by the Financial Times as one of the UK’s leading management consultancies each year since 2017. In his new role as Managing Partner, Brackstone will help power this growth and development of the firm’s expanding team, crediting them as “the driving force” behind Moorhouse's company-wide growth ambitions.
