Three consultancies win In-house Recruitment Awards
The winners of the annual In-house Recruitment Awards have been unveiled, with In-house Recruitment Teams recognised for their excellence across 22 different categories. Three consultancies have been crowned winner: Capita secured two awards, while Baringa Partners and Cognizant both took home one.
In-house Recruitment Awards
The annual In-house Recruitment Awards, organised by the In-house Recruitment Network and awards partner First Choice Software, aims to discover and recognise the increasing achievements of UK In-house Recruitment Teams and the individuals of those teams. During the ceremony, successes are celebrated in 22 categories. Awards are handed out for Recruitment Innovation, the Best Recruitment Advertising Campaign, the Best Graduate Recruitment Strategy, the Best Use of Social Media, the Best Employer Brand, and the Best In-house Recruiter, among others.
The 2015 edition of the event took place on 26 November at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in London and was attended by 700 of the UK’s most talented in-house recruiters. Among the 21 winners are also three consulting firms that together secured four awards. An overview of their successes:
Consultancy Baringa Partners won the award for Best Candidate Experience. “Outstanding service and care for candidate is an integral part to the hiring process and our winner showcased some exceptional examples of process mapping, candidate packs and outstanding reviews, including a 100% positive review on glass-door,” stated the jury. Commenting on its scoop, the firm stated on LinkedIn: “This award is in recognition of the outstanding effort of everyone across our business who has been involved in referrals, interviews and peer to peer meetings. This is a huge success for us all, as it reinforces our evolving employer brand and internal recruitment capability, which we are very proud of.”
Capita, firm that specialises in business process management and outsourcing solutions, secured two awards. The first one was for the Best Use of Mobile, with the judges commenting: “This winner highlighted how their research led them to create a beautifully executed mobile career site.” The firm’s Resourcing practice secured the Best RPO award: “Our winner was able to provide clear evidence of reduced time to hire, quality of candidates, huge reduction in costs and improved compliance.” The prize adds to a list of recognitions racked in this year by Capita, including the NOA Professional Award (outsourcing), a FT Pension and Investment Provider Award and a Pensions Age Award.
The Technology unit of Cognizant went home with the Best Employee Referral Strategy award. According to the jury, Cognizant won the award for its “successful campaign, clearly having undergone some strong planning which was innovative, high in energy, engaging and everything that is needed in a referral programme.” Other awards won by Cognizant this year include five Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards and one NOA Professional Award.
