Wayne Speechly joins Elixirr Partner team
Challenger consultancy Elixirr has added Wayne Speechly to the ranks of its Partner team. According to a release from the firm, the appointment demonstrates Elixirr’s focus on expanding capabilities in the data and cloud space.
Speechly brings more than 20 years of experience in advisory work to Elixirr, specifically surrounding data strategy, execution, agile delivery, and cloud migration. He has occupied a multitude of senior roles in the telecommunications and cloud segments, with a focus on digital transformation. Thanks to this, he boasts a skill set that will broaden the capabilities already present in its Partner team – allowing the firm to address growing demands in the data and cloud space, areas that have become increasingly important to clients across all industries.

Prior to Elixirr, Speechly was the Group Vice President of Digital Transformation at NTT – helping formulate strategy and leading the evolution of the global business. He has also spent four years at Dimension Data, most recently acting as the Group Principal Director for Digital Advisory.
Before that, he worked as the Group Executive for Cloud and Communications for Internet Solutions. There, he led a team that took a dynamic portfolio of innovative services to market focusing on optimised strategic execution, business models and organisational/cultural transformation. Speechly holds a Master’s in Business Administration, having studied Finance and Entrepreneurship at the University of the Witwatersrand.
The news of Speechly’s appointment comes weeks after engineering and consulting industry veteran Rene Schuster also joined Elixirr’s Partner team. Schuster’s arrival brought more than three decades of experience to the firm, with Elixirr hoping it would prepare clients for challenging market conditions.
