Kimble appoints new advisory board members
Kimble’s Enterprise Advisory Board has welcomed five new members. Christina Geary, Tore Brathag, Alistair Lovegrove, Nichola Edwards and Julie Booth will now help Kimble understand how it can best help its professional services clients.
The multi-billion dollar PSA market has continued rapidly in recent years, driven by services organisations turning to PSA tools to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and financial margins. Enterprises have been using spreadsheets and legacy solutions for various tasks such as resource and time management, but as businesses grow and become more complex, the need for automation and maintaining business quality, throughput and effectiveness will grow as well.
Kimble is one company which formed to tap into this demand. The firm boasts a roster of global clients such as Infor and Finastra, and recently reached out for growth investment from Accel-KKR to help meet the growing needs of its partners.
Earlier in the year, the firm put some of this funding toward building a new Enterprise Advisory Board (EAB). Initially with ten charter members, the EAB acts as a collaborative platform for business leaders from some of Kimble's largest customers. Now, the firm has further expanded this with the arrival of five new executives.
Speaking on the newly expanded EAB, Lucy Butterton, Kimble’s Head of Customer Adoption, said, “Getting this diverse group of leaders in the same (virtual) room has sparked some truly engaging conversations that would have otherwise never happened. Watching our customers interact and learn from one another has been enormously insightful. The success of the EAB is really thanks to the members being so open, candid, and willing to collaborate.”
Christina Geary joins the EAB bringing a host of knowhow from her role as Finance Director with BJSS. She said of the EAB, “The community felt open and honest, there was some good challenge and debate and it’s great to see the Kimble team being receptive and encouraging of this.”
Tore Brathag meanwhile joins the organisation while still working as Professional Services Manager at Canon. Speaking after the first meeting of the expanded EAB in July, Brathag said, “It was particularly good to hear more about the reporting and analytics. And to hear what the other members thought about it and what they considered.”
Alistair Lovegrove, Chief Operating Officer, of NTT Data UK, also joined the EAB. He added that he considered his membership an “opportunity to find out a bit more about Kimble’s medium to long term plans, and possibly have a chance to influence them.”
Nichola Edwards is currently Commercial Systems Manager with FDM. She brings 14 years of technology and professional services experience to the EAB team.
Julie Booth has also joined the group. Currently Chief Operating Officer at NEC Software Solutions, she is responsible for delivering the company’s core operational platforms. In addition, she is responsible for our cloud offering and customer support platforms, as well as bids and marketing.
