Peter Christmas joins Financial Services unit of Elixirr
Peter Christmas has joined Elixirr’s Financial Services industry practice as an Associate Partner, further strengthening the firm’s Wealth Management practice.
Peter Christmas joins Elixirr after a stint working as an independent consultant ('Christmas Management Consultants'). Prior to starting out on his own in 2014, Christmas worked for the Standard Chartered Bank for four years. First as Managing Director and Head of Southern Asia Sales of the Investors and Intermediaries division, between 2010 and 2012, and later as the Bank’s Managing Director of Investor Sales and Transaction Banking.
Previous to joining the bank, Christmas was a Managing Director at Pershing between 2005 and 2010 and worked as the Chief Relationship Officer for Pershing in Europe. Between 2000 and 2005, he was the Head of Sales and RM at BNP Paribas, prior to which he held a two year role as Vice-President and Head of Relationship Management at Mellon Financial. Between 1996 and 1999, Christmas was the Vice-President of State Street, having started his career at JP Morgan in 1987, where he worked his way up to the role of Vice-President. Christmas holds a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton.
Besides joining Elixirr, Christmas will remain active as Director at servicematrix.net, a solution for asset and fund managers.
Christmas joins Elixirr’s Financial Services team as an Associate Partner. His appointment to the team strengthens the consulting firm’s Wealth Management practice with more than 25 years of experience across custody and outsourcing services within a wide variety of sectors. Commenting on his move, Christmas says: “Elixirr’s proven experience in responding to digital disruption and financial services operations provides the perfect complement to my experience in dealing with the developments in UK Wealth Management. I’m very much looking forward to helping wealth managers take full advantage of the opportunities driven by regulation and demographics, as part of the Elixirr team.”
Christmas joins a fast-growing team that has seen other recent high-profile members onboard, including former PwC and Accenture Partner Michael Spiteri and Chris Sullivan, former Deputy Group CEO of RBS.
