Graham Bearman joins Mazars real estate wing as Director

Former Cluttons Partner Graham Bearman has joined Mazars to lead its real estate valuations wing. Bearman brings three decades of experience to the firm, including more than 10 years of work with Big Four consulting firms.

Commenting on the news, Nargis Yunis, Partner in Asset Management Assurance at Mazars, noted, “We are delighted to welcome Graham as an addition to our growing senior real estate team. His commercial and technical expertise will be invaluable to the Mazars real estate sector offering as we continue to service high profile clients across audit, tax and advisory”.

Mazars offers specialist financial advice and other real estate services to developers, owners, managers, users, asset managers and investors worldwide. In his new role as Director, Bearman will focus on expanding Mazars’ real estate valuation services, working on a range of real estate clients including funds, investors, banks, corporates, occupiers, public sector, listed groups and developers.

Bearman brings over 30 years of professional services experience to the firm, having worked across a wide range of property sectors and sub-sectors within the UK and overseas. Most recently this saw him spend three years with real estate consultancy Cluttons, providing clients a range of property advisory valuations including loan security, financial reporting, taxation, due diligence (buy or sell side), merger and acquisition and investment and occupier property strategy services.

Earlier in his career, Bearman also spent eight years with EY. As a Property Specialist there, he helped deliver valuations of a wide range of real estate assets, including trade related assets and specialised property throughout the UK, Europe and Internationally as part of the firm’s business advisory function.

Later, he also worked for a time as a Senior Manager with PwC. As part of the PwC real estate deals team, he provided strategic real estate advisory and valuation services to a range of clients including traditional investors, high net worth individuals, funds and corporate occupiers.

In the UK, Mazars is among the largest firms in its sector, employing more than 2,300 people in 16 locations across the UK. It’s locales in the UK consist of Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gloucester, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Poole, Sutton, and recently Newcastle, where it launched a new office in May.
