BJSS expands cloud offering with consulting team
BJSS has launched a cloud consulting team. The UK based practice will be headed by former Big Four consultant Olivier Subramanian, who joins the firm bringing 30 years of experience to the role.
BJSS is a full-service technology and engineering consultancy, having established a 28-year track record of building and providing technology solutions to clients in the public sector, healthcare, financial services, energy and retail industry sectors. With the increasing importance of cloud technology to its clients, BJSS has taken the step of launching a new cloud consulting team in its UK arm.
According to a release from BJSS, the firm is confident the new cloud consulting team will be “a valuable asset,” as many companies moving to the public cloud lack the highly specialised knowledge and skill to achieve their objectives. The team will work to remove these hurdles, addressing the common concerns experienced by enterprises, such as operating a hybrid and/or multi-cloud environment, managing costs effectively and taking advantage of new services available.
The arm will also work with its clients to establish clear cloud strategies and help them to devise tactics to achieve their objectives through creating a transformation roadmap.

In order to lead the team, BJSS has brought in technology consulting veteran Olivier Subramanian as its new Head of Cloud Consulting. With a focus of working with enterprise customers to achieve value from the public cloud, Subramanian brings three decades of knowhow to the firm, having accrued significant experience in strategy, digital transformation, enterprise, and IT Infrastructure consulting across several industry sectors in a pre-sales and consulting capacity.
This includes working as a Consultant with PwC for five years, spending 11 years with IBM – where he was latterly a Senior Managing Consultant – and holding senior roles with KPMG, Microsoft and Contino after that.
Speaking on his appointment, Subramanian stated, “Many of our clients are already in the public cloud, and with our new offering and consulting team, we want to support them in the next step of their cloud journey… and I’m delighted to be in a position to help them realise their goals.”
Enterprise Cloud practice
The cloud consulting team will become part of BJSS’ newly launched BJSS Enterprise Cloud practice. Offering clients the ability to develop new cloud environments, migrate applications, and accelerate many urgent and novel digital transformation programmes at pace, the suite of services will help firms move away from the traditional approach to cloud adoption to more fluid adaptations – the importance of which has been illustrated by how quickly firms needed to adopt cloud during the pandemic.
Within the broader practice, the consulting team will perform the more strategic and advisory work, while other teams within the practice will design, build and implement solutions.
