Alvarez & Marsal Taxand hires Stuart Twinberrow as Managing Director
Alvarez & Marsal Taxand has strengthened its financial investors tax practice with Stuart Twinberrow.
As an independent tax group affiliated with global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal, Alvarez & Marsal Taxand (A&M Taxand) consists of experienced tax professionals, dedicated to providing customised tax advice to clients and investors across a broad range of industries. The firm offers clients a choice in advisors who are free from audit-based conflicts of interest, from the US, as well as in the UK from its base in London.
Stuart Twinberrow joins A&M Taxand to work as a Managing Director, and brings specialist insight into mid-market and large-cap buyout structures and a deep skillset in tax diligence and pricing. He brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate and international tax, having advised a significant number of private equity and financial services clients, and will work alongside A&M’s senior practice leaders including Marvin Rust and Jason Clatworthy.

Before joining A&M Taxand, Twinberrow was a Partner at Deloitte, where he spent 16 years, and latterly led the Big Four firm’s M&A tax team in London. Two years ago, recognising that tax diligence was increasingly moving towards the insurance sector, he founded and ran specialist M&A insurer Innoma Solutions, a business which advises on pricing and managing transaction risk for the private equity community.
