Prior to arriving at Kingsley Napley, Franks spent the last two years with Augusta, one of the larger litigation and dispute funding institutions in the UK, as Chief Marketing Officer. Before this, he spent five years serving as the Managing Director in Marketing Communications at FTI Consulting, a global firm with 4,600 employees in 28 countries which offers management consulting, communications, and financial advisory services, while earlier in his career he also held director level positions at EY and Deloitte.

Speaking on his latest challenge, Franks remarked, “I am delighted to have joined a tremendous firm such as Kingsley Napley. The firm has an outstanding reputation, a strong culture, an impressive client base and a great team, whom I’m looking forward to working with and learning from.”

Exemplifying the knowhow Franks brings to the role, speaking to Consultancy.uk in 2017, Franks explained that a successful marketing strategy consists of ‘four Rs’. “The first R is Recognition: building recognition of the brand and the marketplace," he explained. "The second R is Reputation: demonstrating the calibre of our people, of our services. The third R is Relationships: maintaining those you already have and also creating new ones. And the fourth R is Revenue marketing: some people call it business development – prepping and planning for meetings, providing the collateral to have those meetings, and so on.”
