Scottish Water has named Atos one of its preferred partners for ServiceNow implementation work, following a year-long relationship between the two companies in the field.

Scottish Water has been a customer of ServiceNow for almost a decade, using the platform to modernise a range of its operations. In 2017, for example, Scottish Water announced it was expanding the use of ServiceNow to enable its IT and back office technical teams to support the business better, as well as to improve the joiners and leavers human resources (HR) process for setting up IT for new staff.

The utilities company also uses ServiceNow’s technology for IT services management (ITSM) and IT business management (ITBM), allowing staff to manage projects, teams and customer interactions via a variety of apps and plugins.

Scottish Water works with several IT consultancy and managed service providers on ServiceNow, with Atos one of its leading suppliers.

Atos is a global ServiceNow Elite partner, and was recently named as a leader in the Everest Group ServiceNow Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2021. As Scottish Water’s strategic ServiceNow partner, the firm will facilitate connected operations and data-led insights, improve customer service management and streamline field workforce and supply chain management.

Commenting on the partnership, Rob Mustard, Scottish Water’s Director of Digital said, “We see an opportunity for enhanced collaboration resulting in improved outcomes with ServiceNow the platform for simultaneously driving digital convergence, operational efficiency and ultimately, customer satisfaction.”

Andy Corkhill, Vice President Energy & Utilities at Atos UK & Ireland added, “We are delighted to help Scottish Water maximise its ServiceNow investment and build a value-added partnership which helps address business challenges.”
