Communications consultancy Liquid has appointed ten professionals in Birmingham team following continued growth over the last months.

With offices in Birmingham, Jersey, Guernsey and London, Liquid is a communications consultancy that helps its clients with public relations, communications advisory, data-driven insights and social media expertise. The firm’s focus is on clients in the food and hospitality, financial services, property, and education sectors, as well as the public sector.

According to Liquid CEO Lis Lewis-Jones, the consultancy has enjoyed a resilient pipeline of work despite the challenging business climate brought on by the pandemic, on the back of a “diverse business proposition and client base,” she said.

Its success has seen the consulting firm hire ten new professionals; account director Dan Hill, senior designer Warren Clarke, senior account manager Martha Edwards, digital marketing manager James Read and account manager Mali Lewis. Izzy Jenkins, Owen Maginnis and Leah Benthin joined the firm as junior account executives, Stephanie Marshall as a senior social media executive, and Claire Gillespie as office administrator.

Meanwhile, Liquid has also made a series of promotions nationally, with Clare Evans taking the helm as head of social media and Helen Powell as the consultancy’s head of digital. Elsewhere in the business, Hollie Jones and Chloe Baker have been promoted to junior account directors, Ross Copping to senior account manager, and Emma Johansson to account manager.

Earlier this year, Liquid was named one of the top PR & communications consulting firms to work for. “Since lockdown Liquid has implemented a four-point strategy putting people and business at the heart of our approach,” said Lewis-Jones.
