Phil Hunt joins partnership of OC&C Strategy Consultants
As global advisory firm OC&C Strategy Consultants looks to support its clients in the leisure sector through a turbulent 2020, the firm has promoted Philip Hunt to the rank of Partner. Hunt joined the firm in 2008, and also specialises in due diligence and vendor due diligence processes.
OC&C Strategy Consultants is a global strategy boutique. With deep sector expertise across the consumer goods, retail, leisure, TMT, private equity and B2B services sectors, the firm works with the management of major multinational corporations, leading national companies and private equity firms and develop strategies that have lasting impact.
As many firms in leisure, travel and consumer-facing work prepare for a sustained period of uncertainty, OC&C has rewarded the hard work of long-serving employee Philip Hunt. He becomes a Partner at the consultancy, having first joined in 2008.
Speaking on his promotion, Hunt said, “The most rewarding part of this job is seeing the implementation of strategies we have helped clients develop. Our goal is to help clients make sustainable, profitable changes to their business.”
Working across consumer facing industries, with a particular focus on travel and leisure, Hunt has substantial experience in supporting clients with strategy development, proposition design, and pricing and distribution strategies. He has a keen interest in helping clients use big data and advanced analytical models to support their strategy development. He also advises private equity investors and has worked on numerous buy-side due diligence and vendor due diligence processes.
Prior to joining OC&C, Hunt worked as a Researcher at the House of Commons, and worked with that WYA Foundation for three years – holding the position of Director of Operations. He is a University of Cambridge graduate, holding a BA in Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
