Three senior appointments at Libra Europe Consulting
Libra Europe Consulting has made three senior appointments in its team.
The London-based operations and change consultancy, founded in 2000, has welcomed a new Senior Associate to its 25-strong team. Nick Smart brings over three decades of experience to the firm, most of which was gained in the manufacturing and supply chain environment within the consumer goods sector.
He most recently held senior management positions at Kuehne + Nagel (National Operations Director), Müller (Logistics Director) and Brakes (Director Supply Chain). “Nick brings a wealth of experience in logistics & supply chain, providing further depth and specialist knowledge to one of our key practices,” said Michael Carson, a partner at Libra Europe Consulting.
Commenting on his move, Smart said: “I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the team at Libra Europe Consulting as they continue to develop their logistics and supply chain offering. I am confident my experience of logistics both in house and third party will complement the team and bring a new dimension for our clients.”
Meanwhile, the consulting firm has unveiled two management changes. Rob Cunningham has been appointed Head of Libra Change Partners, the firm’s arm for change management and human capital services. Cunningham, who joined the consultancy in September 2019, succeeds Bob Heward.
Michael Carson, who joined Libra Europe Consulting in 2018 from SIG, has been promoted to Group Commercial Director, tasked with supporting each of the business units – which also includes Libra Transaction Partners, Libra-3E and Libra Solutions Partners – in their respective growth plans and ensuring synergies across the propositions.
