Publicis Sapient adds Sapient.i7 to new Salesforce arm

Publicis Sapient has leveraged the purchase of a 100% stake in joint enterprise Sapient.i7 to support the launch of its global Salesforce practice. The acquisition will enable Publicis Sapient to ramp up the delivery of digital business transformation via its new platform.

With the increasing effectiveness and falling price of digital technologies allowing businesses to drive up productivity and cut costs at faster rates than ever before, demand for digital business models saw the global digital transformation market explode to a value of $261.94 billion in 2018. This is expected to reach $1,051.12 billion by 2026, meaning consultancies positioned to help clients with their digital transformation efforts are enjoying a major boost to their revenues.

Digital transformation group Publicis Sapient helps established organisations get digitally enabled, both in the way they work and the way they serve their customers. The firm’s 20,000 people and 53 offices around the globe have seen keen demand for its services in recent times. One way in which the firm has moved to keep up with that is by rapidly beefing up its Salesforce capabilities.

Publicis Sapient adds Sapient.i7 to new Salesforce arm

Salesforce is a leading CRM software and enterprise cloud ecosystem. It provides customer-relationship management service and also sells a complementary suite of enterprise applications focused on customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development. In order to better support clients looking to leverage Salesforce in their operations, Publicis Sapient co-founded joint enterprise Sapient.i7 in 2017.

Based in London, over the past two years, Sapient.i7 has offered an extensive set of services leveraging Salesforce technology to enable digital transformation for large companies in Europe. Ownership of the brand was initially split 50:50 with Salesforce investment group Tquila Ventures, however following Sapient.i7’s rapid success, Publicis Sapient has moved to take full control of the platform.

The move will be used to support the launch of Publicis Sapient’s new global Salesforce practice. Stephen Aitken, the current CEO of Sapient i7, will lead the UK, Europe, and APAC Regions of the new arm of the company, while on a world-wide basis it will be led by Jason English.
