Healthcare consultancy CF appoints Mike Parish as Chair

Healthcare management consultancy CF has confirmed a new appointment to its Board, as it looks to strengthen its firm at the start of 2020. Mike Parish takes on the position of Chair at the company.

Health spending priorities are rapidly shifting across the developed world. With this in mind, specialist consultancy CF (formerly Carnall Farrar) has been working consistently to bulk up its offering to healthcare organisations. Late in 2019, this saw CF team up with Changing Health to offer a new digital platform for UK and international partners.

Now, the consultancy has kicked off 2020 with a key appointment to its Board, with Mike Parish taking up the position of Chair. Parish was a previous Non-Executive board member for the firm, and takes over from incumbent Ruth Carnall, who will continue with the consultancy supporting development opportunities.

Parish assumes the position following a successful career as CEO, and latterly Chair, of Care UK. He was previously a main board director of Exel, then a multi-billion turnover FTSE 100 logistics company. Mike is also Chair of Unity Schools Partnership Trust, a 25 schools academy trust.

I am very excited to work with Hannah and the team to help CF realise its ambitions.”

In March last year, Chris Ham joined CF's Board as a Senior Independent Advisor. Ham is the former Chief Executive of The King’s Fund and was Director of the strategy unit at the Department of Health.

London-based CF was founded in 2013 and is led by Chief Executive Hannah Farrar.
