Oliver Wyman appoints four partners in London
Global consultancy Oliver Wyman has appointed four new Partners in its London office. Effective from January 1st, the news comes as part of 36 promotions across the firm’s global network.
Oliver Wyman has been undergoing a raft of changes in recent months, as the firm looks to prepare for heightened demand both globally and in its London office. Early last year, this saw 28 Partner appointments across its international network, including eight in the UK capital. Once again at the turn of the year, the firm has used January as an opportunity to reward a number of staff across its network.
Anthony Charrie joined Oliver Wyman’s London office in 2010, following a year as a Project Manager with the World Economic Forum. He holds a Master of Science in Management from the HEC School of Management, and is a CFA Charterholder. Most recently, his work with Oliver Wyman focused on advising Ministries of Finance on financing and attracting innovative companies, collaborating with the European Investment Bank.
Chris Leach has been with the firm since 2008, when he joined as a graduate from the University of Cambridge. Having studied Natural Sciences, Leach has since changed course by specialising in risk management and insurance.
Paul Lewis has been a Principal in Oliver Wyman's London office since 2007, focusing on the Financial Services industry. He began his career as an Operations Analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland, before completing a PhD in Engineering at the University of Bath in 2007. He joined the consulting industry soon after, and according to his LinkedIn profile, Lewis was recently seconded to Old Mutual as an interim executive overseeing the banking businesses.
Archie Stebbings is also named Partner in Oliver Wyman’s London locale, having joined the firm in 2012. Since then, his projects have spanned a broad range of financial institutions and geographies, though more recently his focus has been on Market Infrastructure clients.
“Our new partners span the globe in terms of location, experience and expertise and we are lucky to have them,” said Scott McDonald, President and CEO, Oliver Wyman. “I congratulate them on their achievement and know they will help our clients navigate challenges and opportunities in a fast-changing market.”
