Mark Allen joins Crowe UK as Partner in corporate finance

Crowe UK has made a senior appointment as it grows its corporate business offering. Mark Allen joins the firm as a Partner in its corporate finance division, on the back of a 17-year stay with Deloitte.

Crowe Global is a professional services network which currently boasts a total global workforce of more than 36,000 professionals, and saw a combined revenue in of $3.8 billion in 2017. The network of more than 200 firms has been working with a multinational client base across borders for seven decades, but in that time it has constantly evolved. Most recently this saw the network move its network into a unified brand, ahead of its 75th anniversary.

In the UK, meanwhile, Crowe’s British wing has been moving to grow its corporate business offering. The firm’s corporate finance service line includes support for acquisitions and buyouts, selling a company, capital markets advisory work, fund raising assistance, and transactions and financial modelling.

Mark Allen joins Crowe UK as Partner in corporate finance

As Crowe looks to further expand its corporate finance offering in the UK, it has appointed Mark Allen as a Partner in the division. Based in the Thames Valley office of Crowe, he will be leading advisory work to corporate entities and institutional investors. He will work alongside corporate finance Partner Bob Alsop in the firm’s transaction service due diligence team.

Allen brings more than 20 years of experience to the position. Prior to joining Crowe he worked for two of the Big Four firms, most recently with Deloitte where he was a Director, leading the company’s corporate finance team in Reading, before moving to London as a senior member of the technology, media and telecoms team. Prior to his 17 years with Deloitte, Allen was a Manager for Andersen Corporate Finance, following a four-year spell with PwC, where he reached the rank of Assistant Manager in its audit division.
