Resources Global Professionals wins supply chain award
Resources Global Professionals, international service provider in the field of consultancy and interim-management, received ‘Best Supply Chain Consulting Partner’ in China. Resources won this trophy for its supply chain services to Unilever in China.
The award was given by The Global Supply Chain Council, a network of Fortune 500 and local companies based in China.
In 2010 Unilever started a large IT transformation project in China. The ambition was to migrate all of its supply chain, logistics and warehousing data, to SAP. During the five-month project, Resources was chosen as preferred consulting supplier and the firm provided supply chain expertise and consulting. It was awarded the award for its "excellence in developing and delivering to Unilever" according the jury.
"This is a great honor for our firm in China," said Eugene Lo, Managing Director of Resources in Shanghai. "Our consultants served our client well on a complex and strategic supply chain management project within Unilever's business."
"We see China and the Asia-Pacific area as particularly attractive markets for revenue growth, and believe that this honor will enhance our credibility and marketing initiatives on a global basis," added Donald Murray, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Resources. "We intend to be the go-to consulting firm when it comes to delivering high-caliber, cost-effective and value-added service on a global basis".
