Accenture buys sales analytics specialist NewsPage

Accenture has completed the acquisition of NewsPage, a business intelligence service provider specialized in marketing & sales. Approximately 128 employees of NewsPage based in Singapore, China, India and Malaysia have joined Accenture as a result of the acquisition. NewsPage will be integrated into the Software business unit of the consulting firm.

The acquisition of NewsPage will add to Accenture's ability to provide marketing & sales analytics to the FMCG and retail sector. NewsPage supports clients with analytics on for instance customer management, distributor management, route planning, merchandising, promotion and pricing management, asset tracking en warehouse management.

Neo Metrics Analytics

Earlier this year, Accenture also bought Neo Metrics Analytics (100 consultants), a Spanish advisory firm specialized in big data en predictive analytics.
