Altran helps Dubai with building a mega aircraft center
A consortium of companies in Dubai has recently decided to build a new jet and helicopter maintenance center. The facility will be capable of maintaining up to 60 business jets and 40 helicopters per month. The maintenance center, known as 'The Wings Valley of Dubai', will be the largest and most advanced MRO center in the world dedicated to private jets and helicopters. Innovation and engineering consulting firm Altran has been hired as a strategic external partner of the project.
The maintenance center will be situated in Dubai's Aviation District, close to Al Maktoum International Airport. The Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) center will be able to service all types of business aircraft including planes manufactured by Gulfstream, Dassault, Bombardier, Embraer and BBJ.
