CBRE appoints Charlotte Gannon a UK Client Solutions Director

27 June 2018 Consultancy.uk

Real estate consultancy CBRE has appointed Charlotte Gannon as a Director in the firm’s UK client solutions team. A former EY and Cushman & Wakefield professional, Gannon will work to strengthen relationships with the company’s corporate occupier clients.

Following a bumper 2017, which saw Chinese investors pump cash into the London real estate scene, new analysis shows that interest in commercial real estate in London remains strong. As CBRE prepares to meet growing demand in the UK’s expanding real estate sector, particularly in the nation’s capital, the firm has been engaged in a hiring campaign. Earlier in 2018, this saw CBRE add three new Associate Directors to its London headcount.

Now the firm has further expanded its team, with the addition of Charlotte Gannon. The new UK Client Solutions Director arrives at the firm from Cushman & Wakefield’s global occupier services team, where she advised clients on maximising the efficiency of their global real estate portfolios. Gannon is particularly knowledgeable in the technology sector, having worked extensively with corporates such as Oracle, Activision and Gartner during her decade with the firm.

Gannon’s total ten year stay with Cushman & Wakefield was complimented by a brief secondment with the Crown Estate, as a Property Consultant, in 2012, and with Big Four firm EY. Gannon spent a year with the firm on secondment as a Real Estate Coordinator before returning to her prior duties at Cushman and Wakefield in 2013. Gannon is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and she has previously been ranked as one of CoreNet Global’s 36 under 36 Young Leaders.

In her new position with CBRE, Gannon will be looking to strengthen relationships with corporate occupier clients and devising tailored solutions to help clients align their real estate portfolios with their business strategies.

Commenting on the hire, James McLean, Head of UK Client Solutions, CBRE, said, “Charlotte is a talented and dynamic individual who will be a real asset to the team as we continue to grow our occupier client base and advise clients on all activities across the property lifecycle.”

Charlotte Gannon added, “I am excited to be joining CBRE’s market leading team and engaging with new and existing clients to help deliver bespoke solutions to meet the constantly evolving needs of occupiers.”
