Accenture acquires salesforce expert Phase One Consulting Group
Accenture Federal Services has acquired Phase One Consulting Group for an undisclosed sum. The salesforce and technology consulting firm focuses on federal government clients, and the deal boosts Accenture’s presence in the sector through the acquisition of expertise and a client roster.
Phase One Consulting Group is a US-based salesforce provider. The company, which was founded in 1997, is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. The firm offers full lifecycle IT solutions focused on transforming IT through, among others, Agile Development, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and the use of modern Platform as a Service (PaaS) technologies; in addition, the firm offers cybersecurity solutions. The company is focused on the $80 billion federal market, and leverages its status as a Salesforce Platinum Consulting Partner to deliver key services to the segment.
The acquisition, the value of which was not disclosed, adds a complementary salesforce and management consulting services team to Accenture’s Federal Services business line, and also sees the firm gain access to Phase One’s client network within federal government. Phase One’s portfolio currently includes projects that cover national infrastructure, finance and regulatory services, human services, healthcare, and homeland security sectors.
“New cloud and Software-as-a-Service platforms are transforming both the federal technology landscape and the way agencies serve their customers and achieve their missions,” said David Moskovitz, Chief Executive of Accenture Federal Services. “Through investments like our acquisition of Phase One, we are expanding our capabilities, technology and skills to help lead our federal clients on their journey to be more agile, responsive and secure in a digital world.”
“We are proud to be combining our skills and innovative approach with Accenture’s scale,” said Phase One CEO, Jerad Speigel. “At Phase One, we embrace change and innovation, and we are excited to join forces with Accenture to help deliver the value of Software as a Service to US government agencies.”
The acquisition of Phase One is the seventh acquisition of a Salesforce firm by Accenture since 2014, reflecting Accenture’s continued strategic Cloud First strategy in the segment; others include Media Hive, New Energy Group, CRMWaypoint, Cloud Sherpas, tquila and ClientHouse.
