During past months Clear2Pay has helped Rawbank, a bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo, improve its e-Banking services and infrastructure. The payments specialist implemented its own in-house e-Banking solution and supported Rawbank with the required organization and people change.

Rawbank is the largest bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Last year it decided to improve its e-Banking portfolio. Main objectives were to improve the functional coverage of its solution and increase the security level of all transactions (for example: double electronic signature, international payments, payroll management, cash management, etc.).

Rawbank chose for the e-Banking solution due to its “functional richness” and the “solid experience” of the advisory firm in Africa. In addition, Clear2Pay also won the RFP due to the “flexibility” of its solution in comparison with competing vendors.

Joseph Ly, e-Banking Project Manager at Rawbank: "The project was carried out quickly and thoroughly with a professional team, truly being responsive to our needs. In the first quarter of going live, the solution has proven itself by migrating existing customers to this new level of internet banking, and rejuvenating existing client relationships that had grown cold in the old environment. Also it allowed us to instantly meet the tight legal requirements for national money transfer, while enhancing our image as the most innovative bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo”.

Nicolas Métivier, Vice-President at Clear2Pay: "We are very pleased to have Rawbank among our customers. This partnership with our clients reinforces our motivation to innovate in a constant search to improve our e-Banking solution. It allows our clients to rethink their business model around costs optimization, new revenue generation and brand development".
