Royal HaskoningDHV adds Abhishek Kaushal and promotes Jasper de Wit

Royal HaskoningDHV has picked up Abhishek Kaushal from AkzoNobel, he joins the firm as lead of its Global HR function. In addition, the firm has appointed Jasper de Wit, formerly the firm’s Corporate Controller, to the role of Corporate Director Finance & Control.

Since 2012 Jasper de Wit has worked at Royal HaskoningDHV as a Corporate Controller following its integration with DHV. He previously, from 2005, worked at DHV, first as Controller of the firm’s Business Group Building and Industry, before, in 2010, becoming Controller of the Aviation arm and in 2011, Group Controller.

Earlier in his career De Wit, who holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Tilburg University and a Postgraduate degree in Controlling from the VU University Amsterdam, held various controller functions at Dutch airline KLM over a period of six years. 

Prior to joining Royal HaskoningDHV, Abhishek Kaushal worked at AkzoNobel for four years, including the roles of Head of Regional People Service, SESA & HR Business Leader of Decorative Paints in India. He previously worked at PeopleStrong HR Services, where he was Practice Head of HR Shared Services. Earlier in his career he worked at Genpact for nine years, most recently as a Senior Manager in HR Shared Services, following roles as Operations Manager and Quality Manager. He started his career at pharmaceutical company Ind-Swift as a trainee.

Kaushal holds a GNIIT in Advanced Computer Programming the National Institute of Information Technology, obtained in India, a post graduate diploma in Business Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies – Pune, and an Executive Master of Business Administration in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management. He in addition is a Six Sigma Certification holder.

Kaushal joins Royal HaskoningDHV as the firm's new lead of its Global HR department, while de Wit is promoted to the role of Corporate Director Finance & Control. De Wit succeeds Nynke Dalstra to the role, who, following the departure of Jaska de Bakker, was appointed CFO late last year.
