North Highland adds Hunter Holliday as General Counsel

North Highland has picked up legal expert Hunter Holliday, who joins the firm as Vice President and General Counsel. Holliday will based in North Highland’s Atlanta office, the firm's global headquarter.

Prior to joining North Highland, Hunter Holliday was a Partner at Alston & Bird. At the law firm, Holliday served as a corporate M&A attorney with the firm’s Transactions & Securities Group. The role saw Holliday develop expertise in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic alliances and complex contract negotiations, and included serving as outside general counsel for clients. Holliday started working at the firm in 1985, clocking up more than 23 years of service. Previously, from 1983, Holliday worked at Interfirst Bank as Commercial Loan Officer.

Holliday holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Law from Vanderbilt University. In addition, Holliday served on the Board of Directors for City of Refuge for eight years.

North Highland has hired Holliday as a Vice President, he in addition takes on the role of General Counsel at the consulting firm. The appointment brings more than 20 years of legal experience to the top of the North Highland; Holliday will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the consultancy’s footprint, spanning 3,000 employees in 60+ offices worldwide. Beth Schiavo, North Highland Chief Financial Officer, says that the firm is thrilled to have Hunter join the North Highland team, adding: “His experience across the legal spectrum will be an asset to us as we continue to grow.”
