Alpha FMC opens Netherlands office, 5th worldwide
Alpha FMC has opened an office in the Netherlands, its fifth office globally. The Dutch practice named ‘Alpha Financial Markets Consulting Netherlands’ will be led by Jeroen Bolsius, who joins the company from ING Investment Management where he worked for more than eight years.
Alpha FMC is a global provider of consulting, benchmarking and implementation services to financial institutions founded in 2003. The firm focuses on the asset and wealth management industries and the companies that service them, predominantly within Europe and the US.
Recently the firm announced the opening of an office in The Netherlands. The new office will be the fifth office of the firm, in addition to its existing footprint in New York, London, Paris and Luxembourg.
Jeroen Bolsius has been appointed as the firm’s Director and Head of the Netherlands Office. In this role, Bolsius will be responsible for establishing the Dutch practice: ‘Alpha Financial Markets Consulting Netherlands’ and focus on Asset management applications, Operating models and Regulatory change. Bolsius joins Alpha FMC from ING Investment Management where he served as Head of Engine Business Management, a role he fulfilled for the past 5.5 years. Prior to that, the was the Head of Equity Business Process & Controls at ING Investment Management for almost three years, Management Consultant at Accenture for over six years, and a Trainee at Aon for almost two, a function he fulfilled after graduating in 1998. Bolsius holds a Master degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a degree in Controlling from Nyenrode Business University.
