EY contributes to Black British Business Awards 2014
On 2 October 2014, the first edition of the Black British Business Awards, an event that recognises outstanding achievements of black people in UK businesses, is organised in London. EY has signed up as Partner Sponsor, and will also provide a contribution to the judging panel. Among the nominees, a consultant from PA Consulting Group can be found.
Black British Business Awards
The Black British Business (BBB) Awards is awards ceremony that celebrates exceptional performance and outstanding achievements of black people in businesses operating in the UK, and is supported and endorsed by the UK government. The awards are divided among seven categories: Financial Services, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Infrastructure and Manufacturing, Media and the Arts, Professional Services, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and Entrepreneur. In every category one award will be given to ‘Leader of the Year’ and ‘Rising Star of the Year’.
BBB Awards' ceremony will take place on 2 October, at the Grange City Hotel in Tower Hill in London.

Accounting and consulting firm EY has been involved with the BBB Awards since the beginning, as the Awards is co-founded by Melanie Eusebe in 2012, an Advisory Manager, Performance Improvement, Financial Services at EY at that time. The firm has decided to contribute to the Awards by signing up as the event’s Partner Sponsor. In addition, Sanjay Bhandari, a Partner of the EY Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice in the UK & Ireland, will take place on the judging panel.
Among the nominees, a consultant analyst of PA Consulting Group can be found. Chike Eduputa has been nominated for the ‘Rising Star’ award in the Professional Services category.
