Capgemini and VMware bundle EMM service offerings
Global IT and consulting firm Capgemini has extended its strategic partnership with VMware, a global specialist in virtualisation and cloud infrastructure, to the EMM domain. As part of the deal, the partners will bundle Capgemini’s expertise in mobility consulting, application development and system integration with VMware’s EMM software, creating a better end-to-end experience for clients.
In a joint press release, the two firms have announced that they will bundle VMware’s ‘AirWatch EMM’ software with Capgemini’s ‘Mobile Solutions services’, creating a proposition that, according to the partners, addresses an important demand from CXOs and digital leaders for safer and more reliable mobility services. “The new offering will provide organisations with an EMM* solution to manage virtually all mobile devices, across all major mobile platforms and for all deployment types,” write the firms.
In addition to the bundling of solutions, Capgemini will complement the service offering with organisational change management and industry expertise, while VMware will add in-depth EMM thought leadership and expertise. The initial go-to-market focus will be on cloud solution models offered as off-premise hosted options or on-premise cloud models for global companies across North America, EMEA, Latin America and APAC.
