Jonathan Ericson new Head of Audit at Baker Tilly
Accounting and consulting firm Baker Tilly has appointed Jonathan Ericson as its Head of Audit in the UK. In his new role, Ericson will oversee the firm’s national audit strategy and continue as an active Partner.
Jonathan Ericson has working for Baker Tilly since 1996. In 2000 he was promoted to partner and since 2011 he has served as Regional Audit Managing Partner and a member of the Audit Management team. His client portfolio includes listed companies, large Owner Managed Businesses and organisations in the further education sector.
In a press release Ericson, who outside of work is an accomplished musician and concert organist, states that he is confident that, following the recent merger with RSM Tenon, Baker Tilly has the capabilities to meet future challenges that lay ahead. “Our merger with RSM Tenon has not only increased our client base but has provided us with an enlarged audit team with new skills and sector expertise. Both firms shared a common goal to deliver quality audits through efficient working practice and continual improvement.”
He adds: “As I take the lead in our audit business I am confident that the focus on development and quality along with our values, structure and processes will ensure we are best placed to meet the challenges ahead and seize opportunities as we have done this past year.”
