Randy Miller Global head of EY Automotive practice
Accounting and consulting giant EY has appointed Randy Miller as the new Global leader of its Automotive and Transportation Sector. Miller has been promoted internally, in his previous role he led the Global Risk Practice for EY’s Advisory services.
Miller has more than 25 years of consulting and client service experience, of which the past 12 years with EY. He started his consulting career with Andersen Business Consulting* (currently Accenture), where he served as the Managing Partner of the Detroit Office and Global Automotive Sector Leader. In 2002 he joined counterpart EY as a partner. Over the past twelve years Miller has held many lead advisory and risk advisory roles, with a focus on roles in the automotive sector. From a functional viewpoint he specialises in among others program assurance risk management, IT strategy and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations.
In his new role, Miller will be responsible for managing the Global Automotive and Transportation Center and developing the organisation’s sector strategy and initiatives worldwide. Additionally, he is also the Global Client Service Partner for a major global vehicle manufacturer and will continue in this role.
