SABMiller CIO Mark Brown joins ITRA practice of EY
Accounting and consulting firm EY has appointed information security specialist Mark Brown to its IT Risk and Assurance (ITRA) practice. Brown, who joins from SABMiller where he was Chief Information Security Officer, will be based in EY’s London office.
Mark Brown has roughly 20 years of experience in the field of information security, business continuity and information risk management. Prior to EY he held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at SABMiller, a global FTSE30 consumer goods company. He has also worked as the European Head of Security for a US Defence Research company and European Head of Information Security for SunGard Data Systems.
At EY, Brown will join EY’s growing UK & Ireland Information Security practice as a Director and will assist clients with the development of security strategies, transformation programmes, privacy, data loss prevention, business continuity management, Information Security Control governance frameworks and the design and implementation of IT Controls.
