BDO expands with offices in Myanmar and Brunei
BDO has grown its global footprint with new offices in Myanmar en Brunei.
In Myanmar JF Group is joining the international accountant and advisory office. JF Group was established in Yangon in 1990. It provides audit, accounting and financial consultancy services. The advisory firm is renamed to BDO Myanmar.
Contrary to Myanmar, Brunei is not a new market for BDO. In 2012 it set up BDO Consulting in the country to provide advisory services to clients in the fast-growing market. With the addition of Sylvester Leong & Co to its network, one of the larger accountancy firms in Brunei, it now also can offer tax and audit services. Also Sylvester Leong & Co has been rebranded to carry the name of BDO.
In the first months both offices will be fully supported BDO's in Malaysia.
"I am pleased to welcome JF Group and Sylvester Leong & Co to the BDO network. These two firms are an integral part of BDO's strategy to strengthen our market presence in Asia" says Stephen Darley, CEO of BDO's Asia Pacific region.
