HKA tops Construction Report again with 92 experts recognised worldwide
HKA has once again secured the top position in the Construction Report, an annual ranking of the world’s leading construction disputes experts.
Published annually, the Lexology benchmark identifies the leading practitioners worldwide in construction disputes, expert witness work and litigation.
This year, nearly 2,000 practitioners from around the globe were recognised in the Construction Report, of whom around 550 work in the consulting sector, with the remainder practising in law firms. Experts are ranked across four categories: Global Elite Thought Leaders – the industry’s highest distinction – followed by Thought Leaders, Highly Recommended and Recommended practitioners.
Analysis of the top-ranked consultants shows that a total of 112 firms were represented in the Construction Report, with HKA reinforcing its position as the clear leader. The firm had 92 experts recognised, including seven named Global Elite Thought Leaders: Stephen Rae, Maged Abdelsayed, Franco Mastrandrea, David Atkinson, Michael Tonkin, Dimitrios Tousiakis and Scott Hollingsworth.
Notably, HKA ranks first by a significant margin, with second-placed Secretariat listing 56 practitioners. The gap with third and fourth placed firms, Ankura and FTI Consulting, is approximately 50 professionals.

Commenting on the recognition, Renny Borhan, Chief Executive Officer of HKA, said: "Being number one for the ninth consecutive year is a powerful endorsement of the depth, quality and consistency of our expertise worldwide. Congratulations to all our experts featured for this well-deserved recognition."
“We are equally grateful to our clients for their continued trust and for taking the time to provide such thoughtful testimonials and feedback. It is genuinely appreciated.”
Headquartered in London, HKA is the world’s largest consultancy in the claims and dispute management landscape. The private equity-backed firm employs more than 1,000 people across offices worldwide.
