Seven Street making an early mark in transformation and change consulting
While the traditional consulting sector is under pressure, a number of innovative start-ups are challenging that narrative. Seven Street is one such example – the London-based boutique has enjoyed strong growth in its first 18 months of business, even supporting a billion-pound transaction along the way.
“Traditional consulting is far from dead,” said Jon Breger, Managing Partner and one of the Founders of Seven Street. “What organisations need today is not just advice, but trusted partners who roll up their sleeves, work alongside leadership teams, and help deliver lasting change while supporting the people behind it.”
Against the backdrop of a sluggish market across the wider consulting sector, and as clients increasingly turn to technologies such as AI for advice and insights, some industry commentators have questioned the future relevance of traditional consulting models. However, Seven Street’s leadership believes its experience demonstrates that demand for people-centred, delivery-focused advisory services remains stronger than ever.
Launched at the beginning of 2025, Seven Street specialises in transformation delivery, change management and executive leadership performance, with an approach that places people firmly at the centre of its work.
Since its inception, the consulting firm has won over a string of clients that includes major organisations such as GSK, UCAS, Haleon, Lebara and SThree.
Among its most significant early engagements was supporting the leadership team at GLAS during its £1 billion acquisition by private equity firm Oakley Capital. Seven Street worked closely with executives through a period of rapid growth and complexity, contributing not only to the transaction itself but also to the wider operational and technology transformation that underpinned the deal.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Ethan Levner, CFO of GLAS, added, “Seven Street was a valuable thought partner to the GLAS executive team in the context of rapid growth and change. With high levels of growth – both organic and through M&A – alongside operational and technological transformation and preparation for a potential exit, Seven Street gave the leadership team more bandwidth and helped us execute more effectively through a combination of excellent communication skills, relationship-building, organisational abilities and problem-solving.”
Driven by this demand, Seven Street has already grown to a double-digit core team, with consultants drawing on experience gained at firms including the Big Four and other boutiques, supported by a network of experienced associates.
