Ross Tisnovsky returns to Everest Group as partner
Everest Group has appointed of Ross Tisnovsky as a partner to lead the expansion of its CIO research and advisory practice. The McKinsey & Company alumnus returns to the firm, having originally joined Everest Group in 2006.
Jimit Arora, CEO of Everest Group, commented, “The role of the CIO has never been more critical or more complex. CIOs need trusted partners who can provide rigorous, data-driven insights and contextual intelligence to support high-stakes decisions. Ross brings exactly that combination of experience, vision, and leadership to this role.”
Organisations are increasingly relying on technology leaders to navigate the AI journey. At the same time, the scale of interdependence and pace of change are unprecedented – something which Arora believes Tisnovsky’s knowhow will be crucial, in helping the firm’s clients to navigate.
Tisnovsky originally joined Everest Group in 2006, where he founded and led its IT Outsourcing research service line, helping enterprises and senior leaders optimise outsourcing strategies and outcomes. He spent the last 12 years with McKinsey & Company, where he co-founded and led McKinsey Solution Ignite, a technology-enabled service line focused on IT performance improvement.
As Tisnovsky returns to Everest Group, he brings deep expertise at the intersection of technology strategy, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making. With this, and under Tisnovsky’ s leadership, the expanded CIO practice will combine Everest Group’s global research capabilities with a strong focus on IT performance improvement, enabling CIOs to make faster, more informed, and more confident decisions that give them the edge.
Tisnovsky added, “This is an incredibly exciting time to rejoin Everest Group. The CIO role is being redefined in real time, and traditional research approaches are no longer sufficient. Everest Group is uniquely positioned to meet this moment by combining deep research, practitioner engagement, contextual intelligence and judgment alongside a differentiated model that transforms peer benchmarking into actionable decision support. I look forward to building a practice that helps CIOs lead with clarity, confidence, and at speed.”
