Andy Quinn joins MHA as banking and finance director
(L-R) Matt Godfrey (Banking & Finance Director), new recruit Andy Quinn (Banking & Finance Director), and Gregory Taylor (Partner and Head of Banking & Finance).

National accountancy and advisory firm MHA has grown its specialist banking and finance team in the South East of England. Andy Quinn brings more than two years of knowhow to the firm.

Gregory Taylor, head of banking and finance at MHA, commented, “No two businesses are ever the same – they are all at different stages of their journey and have unique requirements based on their sector, client base and growth aspirations. This means it’s so important to have people like Andy in our team, who can bring that deep experience and knowledge of the funding landscape to support our clients, whether they are an early-stage company, a high growth scaling business, or a well-established firm. Andy adds further strength in depth to our team in the South East and we’re delighted he’s chosen to join us.”

Quinn brings over 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial banking. That includes senior roles with HSBC, Santander and Allied Irish Bank, while he was most recently a director with Allica Bank.

MHA’s banking finance team advises businesses on a comprehensive range of funding solutions including business loans, transactional finance, invoice finance, asset finance, property finance, foreign exchange services and green finance. Looking ahead, Quinn will support the team across MHA’s London, Maidstone and Gatwick offices, supporting clients in securing banking services.

Commenting on his appointment, Quinn added, “Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky to work with businesses across a vast range of sectors, from manufacturing and international, to property and healthcare, and that means I can advise businesses right across MHA’s client base, whether it’s for transactional banking services, working capital lending or long-term debt facilities. Having watched MHA’s significant growth in the professional services arena at close quarters during my time in the banking sector, it was clear to me that this is an ambitious, people-focused firm. I’m proud to have joined such an experienced and well-regarded team within MHA.”

MHA – the UK wing of the Baker Tilly International network – has enjoyed strong financial results lately. Since floating on AIM in April 2025, MHA has gone from strength to strength on the exchange, in a year which has been challenging for the wider consulting market. The MHA listing which raised nearly £100 million, remains London’s biggest IPO by deal volume so far this year.
