UK-headquartered HKA is global consulting firm with over 45 offices in 17 countries. Its investigations team works for clients across sectors, mainly in highly regulated industries. With a global network of experts and deep sector knowledge, HKA works to set a benchmark for excellence in expert witness services across construction and engineering disputes.
Each year, Lexology Index, formerly known as Who’s Who Legal or WWL, awards top firms and individuals that have performed exceptionally well as part of their research across 35 areas and in over 70 jurisdictions. In a gala ceremony on 26th November 2025, the Lexology Index team also raised proceeds supporting the Swawou School for Girls in Sierra Leone.
HKA’s twin-triumph at the ceremony is the latest in a succession of victories. Since its inception over eight years ago, HKA has won the Lexology Index Construction Expert Witness Firm of the Year award five times. The firm has also maintained the number one position in Lexology’s Construction and Consulting: Quantum, Delay, and Technical Expert Witnesses analysis for eight consecutive years.
Additionally, HKA ranks second among the Lexology Index’s Top 100 Firms, with more than 130 experts featured across 12 practice areas in offices spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Earlier in the year, the firm was also rated at diamond level for its forensic and litigation services, in the annual Consultancy.uk industry rankings.
