Ben Bugg arrives as associate partner at PMP Strategy

PMP Strategy has welcomed Ben Bugg to the firm as associate partner in its London office. Reef Read, partner at PMP Strategy’s UK wing, commented that the move brings “a wealth of experience both as a prior investor and advisor to the industry” to the firm.

‘’We’re very excited to have Ben join our growing team in London,” Read continued. “After successfully building our TMT and digital infrastructure coverage here in London, the next logical step for PMP Strategy was to expand our PE coverage and the logical choice to spearhead this effort was Ben.”

With more than 15 years of experience in investment and strategy consulting, Bugg brings a unique perspective shaped by his time as both an investor and an advisor. He has a track record in deal origination, client development, and private equity advisory, helping investors evaluate opportunities and unlock value across the deal cycle.

Most recently, Bugg led EMEA financial sponsors coverage at Stax, where he supported the firm’s European expansion, building new private equity relationships. Earlier in his career, he also held investment management roles at Nomura Asset Management and HSBC Global Asset Management, providing him with first-hand experience of how investors assess opportunities, manage risk, and drive performance. Due to this knowhow, Bugg has been appointed to head up PMP Strategy’s private equity business in the UK and Ireland. Based in London, he will support clients and their portfolio companies with deal advisory, growth strategy and transformation.
