HaysMac has promoted David Bareham, Mike Crowson, Sabina Burke and Tom Stock to partner. According to the firm, the four have made significant contributions across key practice areas and sectors, "bringing together technical excellence, a focus on client relationships, and strong leadership."

Sabina Burke is co-head of HaysMac’s creative, media and technology sector, having bolstered one of the firm’s fastest-growing sectors through her technical excellence. With over 20 years of tax experience, she has guided some of the UK’s most innovative and ambitious firms, helping establish HaysMac as a trusted advisor for forward-thinking, high-growth businesses.

Looking ahead to her new role, Burke said, "I’m delighted to step into this new role as Partner. Leading our largest corporate sector has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, not just because of the exciting clients we work with but also because of the brilliant team I work alongside every day. This promotion represents an opportunity to build on that momentum, to keep developing best-in-class, sector-specific advice, and to strengthen HaysMac’s role as a true partner to scale-up and fast growth businesses."

David Bareham is widely recognised for his deep expertise in share schemes and employee incentives. He has worked with a range of businesses spanning ambitious start-ups to long-established organisations where he designs, implements and manages incentive arrangements that support growth, retention and motivation. His ability to simplify complex technical issues has "made him a trusted specialist."

Bareham commented, "This promotion reflects the incredible support and encouragement I’ve received from colleagues and clients since joining HaysMac. Mike Crowson meanwhile trained at a Big Four firm and has developed a strong reputation in audit, advising a diverse portfolio of private equity-backed and listed companies, especially in technology and life sciences. According to HaysMac, his "pragmatic, clear advice has supported businesses through growth and complex financial reporting".

Crowson added, "It’s an honour to step up as Partner at HaysMac. Having worked closely with PE-backed and listed clients across fast-moving sectors such as technology and life sciences, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges and opportunities that rapid growth can bring. I’m excited to deepen our service offering and continue building trusted, long-term relationships, helping clients move confidently through the next stage of their journey."

Tom Stock finally has played a central role in HaysMac’s audit and assurance practice, where he leads the practice’s audit technical team, and advises on major audits, particularly for listed entities. He combines deep technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards with strong leadership, guiding our audit teams through reporting challenges, regulatory change, and transactions.

Stock noted, "Becoming a partner at HaysMac gives me an enormous sense of achievement and recognition. Having been an integral part of developing the firm’s technical excellence and audit quality improvements I’m delighted to accept the opportunity to lead our Audit Technical team into an exciting future of technical innovation and further evolution.
