Graph Strategy rebrands as GCS amid rapid growth

Graph Strategy UK has announced that it has rebranded as GCS. The move marks the next stage in the firm’s growth, at a time when it is looking to reflect sharper focus into supporting due diligence and value creation work.

James Tetherton, founding partner at GCS, said, “Eight years on from founding the business, our mission remains the same: rigorous analysis, customer-driven insight, and an entrepreneurial team supporting the most exciting mid-market businesses. Rebranding as GCS gives us a fresh, modern identity that reflects the momentum we’ve built and the growth still to come.”

GCS is an award-winning London-based consultancy that supports entrepreneurial management teams and their investors at critical moments of the growth journey. The firm specialises in commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and value creation, working with private equity investors, portfolio companies, and management teams across the UK and internationally.

The firm has enjoyed 35% annual growth since its inception, delivering an aggregate deal value of $3 billion. The firm has also delivered 20 deals in recognised shortlists for awards across the sector.

According to a release from the firm, the new name reflects GCS’s sharper focus on supporting entrepreneurial management teams and investors with commercial due diligence and value creation services. The firm specialises in commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and customer value creation across sectors such as software, tech and data services, and business services. The refreshed brand identity is also designed to underline the firm’s commitment to delivering clear, actionable insight and a distinctive approach to strategy consulting.

Linda Wei, head of strategy and operations at GCS, added, “We are excited to launch the GCS brand, which reflects both our historic growth and our forward-looking ambitions. For our clients, nothing changes in terms of our team or our quality of service, but the rebrand signals a renewed energy in how we go to market.”

GCS operates from its office in the City of London, working with private equity investors, portfolio companies, and management teams across the UK and internationally. Earlier in the year, the firm was celebrated in the annual Consultancy.uk rankings, which attributed the firm a silver rating in the private equity category.
