Valcon appoints Laura Casci as new UK managing partner
European consultancy Valcon has announced the hire of a new managing partner. Laura Casci will now head up the firm’s footprint in the UK.
Commenting on her new role, Laura Casci said, “I am delighted to be joining Valcon at such an exciting juncture in the firm’s growth story. From a strategic perspective, building a sustainable UK business that’s fit for the future is paramount. The opportunity in AI is undisputed and we’ll be able to leverage the group’s expertise and experience in AI and data to prove our credentials in this space.”
Valcon is a north-western European consulting, technology and data company, which seeks to combine premium consulting with deep technology and data knowledge for its clients. Its 1,750 professionals have helped the consultancy to enjoy prolific growth over the last five years, expanding into offices that span the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Serbia and Croatia.
As it seeks to continue this growth, Valcon announced a deal with private equity firm Rivean Capital, which will back the transformation advisory brand as it looks to move into new markets, and service lines.
Amid this, Casci will be responsible for implementing the Valcon Group’s ambitions to become a European powerhouse in data and AI led business transformation, while also tailoring strategy for the UK market. Key responsibilities will include leading the team, identifying key target sectors, developing the business pipeline and ensuring the quality of delivery for customers continues to be extremely high.
Prior to Valcon, Casci was at BJSS, a large, privately owned business and technology transformation consultancy, which was acquired by CGI in early 2025. Originally responsible for opening and growing the BJSS footprint In Scotland, she moved into a Regional Director role for BJSS, taking responsibility for Scotland, Northeast of England, Ireland and Portugal and a team of approximately 400.
