AGS Accountants joins Xeinadin amid M&A drive

Securing an eighth acquisition in 2025, Xeinadin has added AGS Accountants to its expanding ranks. The move will boost its Midlands presence, as well as its offerings in healthcare advisory and transactional services.

Xeinadin is a provider of professional services for small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals across the UK and Ireland. Through the firm’s national presence, Xeinadin offers a full range of accountancy services, as well as assurance and taxation advisory, and M&A and business finance services.

In recent months, the firm has undergone a growth-spurt, powered by an M&A spree of its own, backed by private equity firm Exponent. In 2025 alone, the firm acquired KBG Accountants in Ireland, Silver Levene and KBSP in London, Gibson Booth and King Hope in the North of England, and JCS and Mudd Partners in South England - while since 2023 it has acquired over 30 companies.

Now, Xeinadin has extended this run with the purchase of AGS Accountants. In a move that will expand Xeinadin’s Midlands presence, the deal adds more than 20 professionals to its regional headcount.

Derry Crowley, CEO at Xeinadin, said, "AGS is exactly the kind of firm we want in the group - trusted, practical and rooted in the local community. Their work with businesses across the Midlands and beyond is a good example of the kind of support that SMEs need right now, and we’re looking forward to backing that with additional expertise and investment."

AGS Accountants

Established in 1989, AGS is a full-service firm supporting SMEs and individuals across England and Wales. The firm offers a suite of professional services, spanning accounting, audit, payroll, tax advice and business planning. It will strengthen Xeinadin’s transactional services offering and expands its growing presence in the healthcare sector - where clients are having to adapt their operations to meet growing cost and staffing pressures.

The partnership with Xeinadin also offers new opportunities for AGS. As well as reaching clients further afield, the deal will enable AGS to deliver an expanded range of specialist advice including R&D tax relief to succession planning, while continuing to provide the hands-on support it is known for locally.

Kevin Corey, Director at AGS, added, "At the heart of our success lies one simple principle, building trusted relationships by focusing on what truly matters to our clients and their businesses. From strategic year-end tax planning to compliance and advising on acquisitions or sales, we’re there at every step, guiding them with clarity and confidence. Now, as we join Xeinadin, we’re excited to take that commitment even further, with enhanced tools, deeper technical expertise, and more time to dedicate to what our clients value most. It’s business as usual, but with even greater strength behind everything we do."
