FTI Consulting appoints private equity expert Joseph Shipley

FTI Consulting has appointed Joseph Shipley as a Senior Managing Director in its Strategic Communications business.

Based out of London, Joseph Shipley works with private equity clients and their portfolio companies on building influence and trust through multichannel and multistakeholder communications. He also has significant experience advising on transactions that involve significant political and regulatory scrutiny.

He joins FTI Consulting from Kekst CNC, where he was a partner. Before that, he worked at Brunswick and in the in-house communications team at Permira, a global investment firm.

In his new role, he will lead FTI Consulting’s work with private equity groups in the UK and across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
