PA Consulting celebrates opening of new hub in Belfast

PA Consulting has moved to a new office in Belfast. Opening the doors on its hub, the firm welcomed community leaders from across the city to mark the occasion.
Global advisory firm PA Consulting has been building its presence in Belfast for many years now. In 2018, it first announced it would be creating around 400 new jobs in Northern Ireland’s capital city over the coming five years – with the roll out of a new technology hub.
PA officially kicked off its “new chapter” in June 2025, when it opened the doors to its new office – at the heart of Belfast’s city centre. At an event attended by NI Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald, and a crowd of business leaders, the firm confirmed its “commitment to supporting Northern Ireland’s dynamic business community”.
A statement on LinkedIn from PA confirmed, “The new space is more than just an office – it’s a hub for innovation and collaboration. It symbolises our ongoing investment in nurturing talent and delivering exceptional value to our clients across Ireland and beyond. We’re looking forward to expanding our connections, growing our team, and working together to build a brighter, more resilient future for Belfast and the wider region.”
Belfast is a city which is afforded tariff-free market access to the UK and EU market for goods, thanks to its history and geographical location. This has attracted a growing business services cluster – which takes up 28% of its economy, ahead of technology, media and telecommunications at 20%.
In the last two years, this has seen a growing number of consulting firms set up shop in the city. At the end of 2023, Grant Thornton announced the creation of more than 20 jobs in the area, while a year later FRP Advisory expanded into the market for the first time. And earlier in 2025, Deloitte also announced it would be growing its already sizeable presence in Belfast with new appointments.
