Pye Tait Consulting promotes Olivia Bray and Harry Rowntree

Olivia Bray has been promoted to the research manager team of Pye Tait Consulting. Harry Rowntree has meanwhile been elevated to the rank of senior research executive.
Pye Tait Consulting is a full service research agency operating throughout the UK and overseas. The company offers research and development services to the public, private and voluntary sectors across a wide range of specialisms and business sectors.
Olivia Bray joined Pye Tait as a research executive back in March 2021, having achieved a first-class master of physics in physics, astrophysics and cosmology. Putting those skills to use, earlier in 2025, she completed a retrospective evaluation of the MicroCarb satellite mission on behalf of the UK Space Agency (UKSA), and is currently leading a training scheme evaluation in the justice sector.
Recognising her contribution, she has recently been promoted from senior research executive, to join Pye Tait’s team of research managers.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as research manager at Pye Tait Consulting,” said Bray via LinkedIn. “I look forward to my continued development as part of the team!”
Harry Rowntree, a master of research, joined the firm in 2023. He is also being promoted – in this case, to senior research executive. As well as supporting several other projects, a release from the firm noted he was “doing a sterling job leading a small team working on a data analysis project for one of our public sector clients.”
Managing Director Tom Clarkson commented, “Olivia and Harry are very important team members who have contributed hugely to our recent success. They have bright futures ahead of them and we are excited for them to play a major role in the next stage of our journey.”
Clarkson is himself a recent promotion within Pye Tait. In April he was selected to replace Miranda E. Pye, who alongside Keith Pye, formed Pye Tait in 1991. Clarkson was previously managing director with multidisciplinary agency Blue Marble Research – with Both Pye Tait and Blue Marble being part of EMB Group. His appointment therefore heralds the establishment of a newly merged management structure across both organisations.
