RSM adds four new members to Aberdeen office

Professional services firm RSM has made several key hires in its Aberdeen office.
The latest hires include Robbie Simpson as audit director, Ciaran Fines as assistant tax manager, and Naeema Joji as assistant audit manager. The firm has also recently appointed Lisa Macpherson-Fletcher as tax partner in the private client advisory team, supporting its Aberdeen and Edinburgh offices.
Robbie specialises in large complex audit engagements, supporting clients through their compliance and other assurance requirements. He brings with him 15 years of experience, most of which spent at PwC, where he worked with large international corporate and listed organisations. He focuses on clients in critical national infrastructure sectors, such as oil & gas, telecommunications, transportation, technology and water utilities.
“It’s fantastic to have joined RSM at such an exciting time. I am looking forward to supporting clients in Aberdeen and continuing to build on the strength of the amazing team that we have here at RSM. I plan to leverage my experience of working with some of the most complex organisations to add value and deliver an excellent service to our clients, further establishing RSM as the leading adviser to middle market businesses in Aberdeen.”
Macpherson-Fletcher meanwhile specialises in advising family businesses on succession and estate planning, particularly for large estates, landowners and agricultural clients. She previously worked for Deloitte, Saffery, and Gillespie Macandrew.
Andrew Forsyth, RSM’s Office Managing Partner in Aberdeen, said that the latest round of appointments reflects the firm’s growth. Last year, the Aberdeen team relocated to a new office in The Capitol, to better accommodate its future growth plans.
