BIP hires Lisa Orme to lead and grow Insurance practice in UK

International management consultancy BIP has strengthened its UK leadership team with Lisa Orme, who joins the firm’s partnership.

Appointed a Partner and Head of the Insurance practice, Lisa Orme brings over two decades of experience to the role. She has been tasked with scaling the practice, including expanding the client portfolio, introducing new offerings, and translating BIP’s global capabilities into a compelling local proposition.

“I’m excited to lead BIP’s insurance service in the UK at such a pivotal time for the sector. Our goal is to help clients evolve beyond traditional risk transfer models and become strategic enablers of operational resilience, customer trust, and sustainable growth, underpinned by data and AI,” said Orme.

A respected figure in the industry, Orme’s career has spanned start-ups to major consultancies. In senior roles at Capgemini and DXC Technology, she has enabled growth and transformation programmes for leading insurers across General Insurance, Life & Wealth, and the London Market, specialising in topics such as operational resilience, cost optimisation, regulation, and strategic transformation.

Orme is known for fostering enterprise-wide collaboration, connecting with stakeholders across IT, procurement, legal, operations, HR, and executive leadership to help drive complex transformation programmes from end to end.
