Change Rebellion celebrates two years of transformation consulting

Founded in 2023, specialist management consultancy Change Rebellion is celebrating two years of growth and impact. With over two-dozen client projects now under its belt, the change advisory now boasts a network of more than 50 experts – and has set its sights on further growth looking ahead.
It has long been said that the only constant in life, is change. During the pandemic, Mark Green stared one of the gravest changes of all in the face. Having become gravely ill from a bout of Covid-19, he spent two months in an induced coma.
Thankfully, he recovered – but the experience prompted him to think differently about his life and ambitions. Having spent almost two decades working in professional services for other people, Green decided he had spent long enough in that stasis, and to lean into the radical changes his life had been experiencing, by launching a business of his own.
Established in 2023, Change Rebellion saw the experienced change management specialist look to grab life by the horns. As such, the firm went straight into action to support a UK wide utilities company rescue a once failed programme. The initial deployment of a new IT system had failed to land first time round but after months of engagement, communicating, raining and building confidence once again. But with the help of Change Rebellion, it has now been successfully rolled out in several locations with benefits associated.
Kicking on from those early successes, Change Rebellion has since grown from an initial concept into a change management brand with an associate network of more than 50 experienced professionals. While the firm remains UK-based, this expansive headcount has allowed the firm to follow interest from clients around the world – and they can provide specialist resources for projects and programmes in the parts of US, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Enhancing that capacity further, the firm’s associates are “currently deep into mergers and acquisitions for a safety group” – taking its change-based remit beyond the typical understanding of an 'IT led' change initiative, into behavioural and culture change.
This has been buoyed by impressive results within its first two years of operation. Building a clear niche in the energy and utilities space, Change Rebellion has enjoyed a 500% uplift in client engagement over the last 12 months, and is now on track to continue to expand its market share.
Looking back on the firm’s first two years in business, Green commented, “For too long large, corporate consultancies have dominated the change management sector with costly, outdated processes that fail to deliver any real or tangible results. Following my own personal battle with Covid-19 – combined with over 20 years’ industry experience – I felt I had seen enough cracks and knew it was time for a change… I launched Change Rebellion to not only deliver impactful workplace transformation strategies, but to disrupt an archaic way of working and show organisations what change management is really about – their people.”
