Atos to lead IT transformation for Utmost Life and Pensions
Professional services firm Atos has been selected for a new project with a UK-based pensions provider. Utmost Life and Pensions will now work to transform its IT estate.
Atos is a global IT and digital transformation firm. With around 82,000 employees and annual revenue of €10 billion, the firm specialises in cybersecurity, cloud and high-performance computing, offering tailored end-to-end solutions for all industries in 69 countries.
Atos was selected to lead the project due to its established expertise in efficient cloud transformation, and deep understanding of Utmost Life and Pensions’ operational needs. The firms have had a long-standing partnership, beginning in 2012.

With the award of this latest contract, Atos will provide managed services, starting with the seamless migration of Utmost Life and Pensions’ IT systems to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The secure cloud solution will increase business agility by lowering infrastructure costs and providing the ongoing stability, security and compliance necessary in the highly regulated pensions industry – helping the financial company operate in the UK, which has one of the largest, most sophisticated insurance markets in the world. The 18-month project will also ensure that the employee experience is enhanced with improved flexibility, reliability and mobility to help meet the needs of a modern workforce.
